Live Weather Satellite Images
|
Satellite images can be seen everywhere in our lives. Particularly on the internet for free. Today's technology allows us to see so many images that it is astounding how we can access the what, when, and where of every day life via satellite. Live weather satellite images make it impossible to not know what is going on around the world climatically days ahead. For instance, recently in Queensland Australia, we knew days ahead of time, that they would be hit by a cyclone. Not only did we know that they would be hit by a cyclone but that it would take approximately 3 days to travel the distance of the continent.
Astounding considering that in the days previous to live satellite imaging we had only a wing and a prayer to predict the what, when, and where of what was coming towards our homes. Live weather satellite imaging can predict the future out come of baseball games, picnics, road conditions, hurricanes, shopping weather, voter turnout and even war success. It is amazing how Accuweather.com can now tell you where the black ice is on a road use Doppler radar and a combination of Live weather satellite images to find out everything you need to know about what is going on in the world. Each weather service depends on a mix of the new technology out there. Other satellites play more independent roles in our daily lives such as Google Earth. Where you can not only find the location of your daughter errant internet boyfriend but actually view a satellite picture of his home.
Technology in the Live weather satellite image field has evolved from mere pictures returned from space capsules in space. to those shot live digitally in what is mere seconds now. Amazing to the human eye. Let us imagine this, what if there were no more live weather satellite images and there was another Nor-Easter another "perfect storm"? How many fisherman would be lost at sea in that storm? While purposing catastrophe's lets assume that we do not have the satellite abilities to any longer predict the blizzards we have been seeing. What about the great blizzard of 2011. How many motorist would have been stranded in Chicago USA then? How many would be trapped in haphazard places and died? Is it at all possible we could have see 100 dead, 200 or a 1000? Amazing when you consider that a small picture broadcast from a complicated piece of electronics from thousands of miles in the sky can actually predict the danger to and have saved so many lives since we first broad cast live weather back from space?
Live weather satellite images have indeed brought a new level of human living to our world. A quality of life that the newer generations would be lost without. We cannot take this privilege we have light we must full recognize it for what it is a necessity in our future generations life times. Truly live weather satellite images need to be evolved and perfect to the point that they are so specific that any of the guess work that still remains can be removed from the human factor. |
